Lulu seriously said this to me this morning! She is so funny, she really tries to be 'all grown up' and thinks she has the world figured out...until she doesn't, and life isn't exactly how she believes it should be; then there are tears. But for the most part, she is a happy girl who is gaining a grasp on the concept of time--days, weeks, months. We have been busy the past two weeks, so I'll just show some pics of what we've been doing...
Buddy was injured--twice--playing Duck, Duck, Goose. We are lucky he has never had a broken bone, for some reason he is more prone to injury--maybe it's a boy thing.
We planted seven trees around our house. I'm sure in 20 years someone will be really thankful. The next day Lulu's journal assignment at school was "What can you do to help the planet?". Lulu wrote, "We planted trees and flowers so we can breathe and the animals.". There you have it in a nutshell.
Buddy and I dug up an ugly tree, but then we planted another one. He was just so proud of our accomplishment I had to include a pic.
Squiggle has finally mastered folding her arms for prayer. Previously, she would stick her arm straight out and cock her head to the side. It was adorable, but now (for the most part) she has stopped consuming half her meal during the prayer.
Our indoor garden continues to grow. Everything is doing well, except the broccoli and cauliflower. After letting these plants grow inside I'm scared to take them outside and expose them to the harsh elements.
Squiggle got her first manicure. When asked to show someone her nails she would display her pointer finger only.
Last Saturday Buddy had his first soccer game. Right before the game began, it started raining and it was freezing. Wish us better luck tomorrow (we're going to need it!).
Finally, Buddy had his Preschool Program. He did a great job. Buddy has learned a lot at preschool this year and is very excited for Kindergarten next year.
Project 365 LO's coming soon. Until then, HAPPY SPRING! And Happy Birthday to my little brother ;)
