Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

{more joy} Life after Halloween

Well, our life  did continue on after Halloween--just not in the blogging world.

We took Lulu & Buddy to "Disney on Ice" and had a great time.  Squiggle got to spent to the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house--so fun all around :)  We took TRAX to the show and Buddy was more excited to ride the train than he was to watch the show--and was not disappointed!  Lulu's favorite part was all the princesses dancing with their princes and Buddy's favorite part was Nemo.  The best part for me? After the show was over the kids weren't disappointed to leave because they realized they got to ride the train AGAIN!

I also got to see "Twilight" at 12:15 AM.  I just read the books last month and wasn't sure I wanted to see the movie as I didn't approve of the cast (at first glance) and new disappointment was probable.  But when Ashley (my SIL) and her sisters had an extra ticket to the opening show I grabbed it and had a blast.  The movie was a pretty good adaptation and Edward won my heart as soon as he spoke and continued to impress throughout the movie.  Although there were a lot of staring/camera circling scenes, I think they did a great job overall.  Now I want to read the books again!  BTW, if you want some Twilight Flair, check out these by Ellie Lash (one of my fav digi designers).
I've also been busy scrapping this month (I'm sure that is a surprise).  I got accepted onto two more Creative Teams (CTs) and have accepted to be the CT Leader of Andilynn Designs.  We are hosting a blog train with some fun Thanksgiving freebies tomorrow.  The other CTs are Haynay Designs and Simply Sweet Designs--both of which are great designers.

For anyone that is interested, Andrea is hosting 2 Speed Scraps this week at ScrapMatters.

For those of you who don’t know what a speed scrap is–everyone meets at theScrapMatters forum thread at the designated time. They will receive an instruction at the start time and then a new instruction every ten minutes for a total of seven instructions/prompts. After the last prompt is given you have one hour to complete your LO and get it uploaded to the ScrapMatters gallery and posted to the thread.

Why would people be crazy enough to scrap under pressure like this? Because it’s so much fun!!! And there are prizes, great prizes just for participating. And a prize for the winner–this week there will be a $5 gift code to the shop for one lucky random participant at each speed scrap.

Because there are international scrappers who do not want to wake up in the middle of the night to do a speed scrap Andrea decided on Tuesday 7pm (Pacific time) and Thursday at 10 am (Pacific time).

These will be two totally different speed scraps with two totally different sets of rules.

For those of you who manage to squeeze one of these speed scraps into your busy schedule you will receive a fantastic mini kit by Ellie Lash called Wish Garden.

For those of you crazy enough to do both speed scraps you can also receive your choice of Andrea's What’s Hangin’ Tag Alpha or my What’s Hangin’ Journals & Tags.

{more joy} Break from Packing

That's right, I'm taking a break from packing to let you know some exciting news.  I'm officially on the Creative Team (CT) for Andilynn Designs!  Since most of you don't know what that means, or why that is exciting I will enlighten you... Most designers in the digital scrapbooking world have creative team members to market their products.  CT members get products for free and then make LO's with these products and post them around the web.  Designers get more exposure (and hopefully more sales) and CT members get free stuff.  A win-win for everyone.

I've never applied for a CT because I generally don't post on multiple galleries, and don't consider myself up-to-par with other digi-scrappers, but I didn't want to pass up this fun opportunity.  Today I downloaded some fun stuff and I'm excited to get started!
