Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

{more 365} Week 7

Valentine's Week is over and I'm ready to move past numerous hearts cut out of construction paper, heart candy, and valentine delivery. Valentine's Day is a great holiday--hey you get to spread the love and feel the love--but I'm glad it's over for one more year. Here's a glimpse into our week last week:
Sunday: Lulu gave a talk in church which she insisted on writing herself. She also drew a picture to go along with the talk. She talked about going to the Draper Temple, her favorite rooms were the baptism and sealing rooms. In the sealing room she looked in the mirrors with Grandma and saw her and Grandma going on and on forever. Then ended by saying she is thankful for her family and that we can be together forever. Short and sweet.
Monday: Squiggle is going through a cleaning stage. She loves wiping down the cabinets and adores sweeping. Here she is dressed in the chef outfit, carrying around the little broom and dustpan--what a cutie!
Tuesday: The kids got felt hearts from Great Grandma D. She is so sweet to send them a card for each holiday and they love it. The felt hearts were a big hit. Squiggle squealed with joy whenever she saw hers. Thanks Grandma!
Wednesday: These are my kids' place mats. Each week I'm going to try and take a pic of an 'everyday' thing around our house.
Thursday: Lulu got the flu bug Buddy had last week. Not fun.
Friday: Squiggle got her first haircut. Good-bye mullet, Hello bob. It was very sad to cut off her curls, but hopefully they will grow back and look cuter in a non-mullet form.
Saturday: Valentine's Day. After spending the day together has a family, we whisked the kids off to my parents house for their own party and Rob and I enjoyed a steak/shrimp/homemade fries dinner alone and then went to "He's Not That Into You". It was a fun evening.
