{more me} Christmas Edition

Okay, so I've been quite a slacker this month, so I'm going to try and make up for it in one night! First, Andrea tagged me awhile ago, and it looked kind of fun, so here it goes:

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? paper
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial--three alpine trees ;)
3. When do you put up the tree? first week of Dec
4. When do you take the tree down? before New Year's Eve--Buddy's birthday is Jan. 2, so I like to have all Christmas stuff put away and the house back to normal before then
5. Do you like eggnog? NO!!!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? a wooden bench my Grandpa made for me
7. Hardest person to buy for? my brothers
8. Easiest person to buy for? my mom, although she doesn't need a lot of things, I can always think of things to get her
9. Do you have a nativity scene? yes, I have a Willow Tree Nativity (see later post), a nativity my mom passed down to me as well as an advent, felt nativity
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? both
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I wish I could say--really funny story, but the person who gave it to me reads this blog and I don't want him/her to be offended ;)
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Christmas Story…”You’ll shoot your eye out” and just thinking of the leg lamp makes me giggle. This is the same answer as Shari!--this was Andrea answer & I ditto it!
3. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Sept
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? yes
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? homemade toffee
16. Lights on the tree? all white
17. Favorite Christmas song? Oh, Holy Night
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer’s? Yes I can…Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen,
Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen & Rudolph!
20. Angel or Star at top of tree? each tree has it's own star
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? trying to balance out my kids gifts
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I have two sets of nativity ornaments and they are my fav
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? lasagna made by my mom
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Gospel Picture Art Kit, Hale Center Theater season tickets
