Do you know what I should be writing about today? I should be writing about the spectacular Celine Dion I went to with my mom. I should be telling you I waited one year to go to this concert--even buying the tickets one week before I visited Brazil last year and yet keeping this HUGE secret from my mom. I should be telling you we had a great girls-night out with food, love, and of course--Celine. BUT I'm not. Last Sunday I got an email telling me the Celine Dion concert I've been waiting one year to attend was now postponed until February. I sadly called my mom to tell her the much-anticipated Mother's Day present was no longer. You see the concert is now SUNDAY Feb. 22. We can't go. After feeling sorry for myself I realized I was being pretty child-ish and should really feel sorry for Celine Dion, who is quite ill. I wish her the best, and wish her a quick return to SLC in the near future.
So, here is the JOY part--do you want to go to Celine Dion on SUNDAY Feb 22, 8PM @ Energy Solutions Arena? If you do please email me [emileem at gmail dot com]. My tickets were $67 each--$150 total; they are on row 14, sec 107. Please let me know by Tuesday so I can get a refund if needed!
That really stinks! It's too bad that whoever did the re-scheduling couldn't have kept in mind the demographic here and realized that Sunday is not a good day. I feel for you and your mom. Good luck selling the tickets.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry it is on a Sunday. Wow, I bet you are really dissappointed. I hope you are able to something just as fun with your refund. :)
