I'm starting to see a pattern (or pat-run as my kids say) regarding my photo of the day picks. Squiggle is in 90%. I guess she is the funniest/quirky-est person in our home. So, here she is again; for some reason she just went and laid down on Lulu like she was going to have a nap. It was close to her nap time, but I'm not really sure what she was doing. Luckily I had my camera close by:
Day 9: Crazy Kids DayCrazy Kid #1: Squiggle. Today she learned a new trick. I asked Buddy to go check and see if Squiggle was awake and soon after ascending the stairs, I heard him laughing loudly and saying, "Mom, you've got to come and see Squiggle". Lulu & I make our way upstairs to find Squiggle without a shirt or socks. That's right, the girl who can't distinguish her nose from her ear has figured out how to take her shirt off. And she was pretty proud of herself and kept practicing her new skill throughout the day.
I think this photo warrants further explanation...yes, those are boy shoes. Squiggle is also known for frequently removing her shoes at various locations throughout the house and in the car. When I found these hand-me-down shoes I thought they were the perfect answer to my frustration. They tie, they don't look too bad with jeans and she loves them--thus why she had to sleep with them. What a character!
Crazy Kid #2: Buddy. Lulu & Buddy love putting on plays/shows/dances. These events involve tickets, costumes & and LONG period of time. This was the costume Buddy came up with for tonight--I'm speechless, really.
