Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

{more chaos} If his name's not Barry...

As I've mentioned before, Squiggle has a great love for all animals--and I'm realizing this really encompasses ALL living creatures. Last week she was playing outside with my dad & Buddy when she found a bee lying in the grass.  The bee was about at the end of his life when Squiggle decided he really needed a friend. She soon learned if a bee isn't named Barry, he doesn't make a very good friend.  My dad took her to a different part of yard and didn't realize she had been stung by her new friend until he brought her inside awhile later and her finger was starting to swell.  I was able to remove the stinger & quickly got her some Benedryl which quickly brought the swelling down.  During all this commotion, she never cried or whined.  She just kept sticking her finger in her mouth and blowing on it and/or sucking on it.

Luckily we keep Benedryl in the car as Lulu is allergic to cats, and has had unexpected reactions when we are away from home.  Will this deter Squiggle in her love for all living creatures?  I doubt it. She was pecked by a chicken at the Farm as she reached out a piece of corn and the chicken tried to grab it from her.  Rob & I were two steps behind and were unable to reach her in time, but again she never cried and repeatedly wanted to stick her fingers close to the chickens. Makes me wonder what will happen at the next encounter of Squiggle and an animal.
