Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

{more love} Obituary for a fish

Goldie
Jan 2008-June 2008
From the moment she came into our lives until the moment we said goodbye, Goldie was an active goldfish with a love of swimming in circles and eating multi-colored fish flakes.  Lulu's first pet which she brought home from a preschool field trip to the pet store.  It is rumored there would be a contest to see whose fish survived the longest.  At the end of the preschool year Lulu's Goldie was the only fish still swimming.
Final remarks at the burial included:
Buddy, "Goldie, my love you"
Lulu, "I love you too, Goldie"
Me, "Thanks for being a great pet, have fun with all your fishy friends in heaven"
In lieu of flowers, please give your favorite pet a hug (or any random animal you find).
I completed this LO commemorating Goldie's life before her passing.  I think I'll edit and add some final details at a later date. Credits here

  1. So sorry to hear about Goldie! I know how much you loved her sitting on your counter, cleaning her bowl, buying food... and more cause she lived so long! Let me know when you decide to get a new one! haha. Glad you could have a little service! She was a part of your family for a long time! What was Lulu's (or yours) prize for keeping it alive so long?! The JOY of having her in your life!?
