HAPPY BIRTHDAY SQUIGGLE!!!!!!!!!!
Squiggle is ONE today! We are all so excited (well, except her, she really could care less). Mom, Buddy and Lulu have all sang "Happy Birthday" to her and we are looking forward to presents later today. On this occasion I thought it would be appropriate to clear up a matter of who Squiggle looks like. I am getting a little tired of people asking where her dark hair comes from. Have you looked at me? I am her mom and I have dark hair! Just because she doesn't look like Lulu & Buddy people think that is odd. Well I don't look like Rob, and it seems she got a heavier dose of my genes. If you don't believe me, take a look at this photo of me when I turned 1. I really didn't have red hair, I'm just not too good at scanning old photos that have poor color quality.
So are we clear? Lulu looks more like Rob--well Rob's mom actually, Buddy is more of a mix, and Squiggle looks more like me.I thought this was a fun photo. When I saw it this morning I was shocked. I thought that was my Squiggle looking back at me. That is an expression I often see on her face. So funny, I just had to share.

Emilee, You are so right. You could be little twins. That was funny...people keep asking you about the dark hair. The first birthday is always a special one--have fun!
