I wanted to get this LO done, but I also wanted to spend time with Buddy and since the LO was about his b-day I told him he could help me. Kind of scary, but since we had a template it was smoother than it could have been. He instantly feel in love with Britt-ish Designs "Leave the World Behind" kit because of the bright, primary colors. Then he noticed the Mickey buttons from "Mouse in the House" and just HAD to have those on his LO. So, that is why we have Mickey buttons on a LO that has nothing to do with Mickey. I have to tell you he had a blast picking out different papers to fill each layer--he even had to pick out the stitching and mentioned he wanted stitching! I decided to journal about putting the LO together, so I used various alphas to describe what he got for his b-day.
I'm happy with it overall, and it is a fun memory. This template worked out well because the pictures we have of his b-day are really grainy and awful, and since they are fairly small it's not too noticeable. We sent our camera to be repaired shortly after these were taken. Okay, so I talk TOO much.
