Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

{more chaos} Snip, Snip, Smile, Cry

There are some events you know will probably happen as a parent, but you still don't look forward to them.  Cleaning up puke, potty training, self-inflicted hair cuts.  We experienced the latter at our house last Friday.
Buddy loves scissors.  Although we have a strict rule that we only cut with paper, he has been known to cut the play table, blankets, etc.  Friday took the cake when he decided to cut his hair.  He grabbed his scissors while I was on the phone and cut his hair in front of my mirror.  I found him grinning from ear to ear, with long pieces of hair all over my carpet and significant chunks of hair missing from his head.  It was hard to help him understand he had done something wrong because he was so proud of himself!  I wanted to take a picture of what it looked like before I took Dad's shaver to it, but Buddy wasn't too happy to pose for a picture...

  1. What a handsome haircut! I never realized your comments were under "two cents worth." Now that I know I will try to leave more!
